Special Education teachers and staff are the backbone of our program. The SELPA strives to provide staff with the information and tools they need to do their jobs both efficiently and effectively, while complying with legal mandates.

IEP
Teachers and staff are assigned as Special Education Case Managers and are required to develop the first draft of the IEP to be presented to the IEP team. All staff serving students in the Ventura County SELPA should have access to the SIRAS IEP program. There are various tools available to assist staff in preparing for the IEP which are not a part of SIRAS:
