Adaptive Technology Assessment Center (ATAC)

The ATAC is a state of the art service provided by the Ventura County SELPA at no charge to our local school districts.  Adaptive technology assessments are conducted with special education students to assess the need and efficacy of assistive technology for the student for communication, activities of daily living, and accessing learning in the classroom.  Requests for an assessment by ATAC must be generated by the school district.  ATAC referrals require a signed Assessment Plan.  Please contact Kelly Cox or Sharon Redner at the ATAC office number, (805) 437-1575, before generating an Assessment Plan, to discuss the student's needs and reserve a date and time.
